Second time with MA1000 front foil, and today swapped 232 stab for 195 with mast at 9 which was more stable and got a few gybes in. Wind soon picked up and well overpowered on 4m, but carried on to learn. Easier to get up today keeping front foot pressure on. Wind and chop soon increased and it was a struggle.
Moved mast to 10, but too much lift especially in gybes, though felt more pitch stable. Then moved to 8 and felt more unbalanced and more back-footed. So maybe 8.5 no-shim, or 9-10, blue shim next? Need a steady, moderate wind and a smoother sea.
